Just curious, Do you keep your 3rd row up or down?

I just picked up my Cx9 GT and the 3rd row is up, not sure if it will stay that way since the trunk area is small. Any advice on a 1 piece cargo mat behind the 2nd row. WeatherTech has 2 mats, one for 2nd row, and one for 3rd row. It would be nice to have one 2nd row that folds when the seat is up.

I have the husky liner which covers the rear seat and cargo area. If I need the 3rd row seats, I roll back the mat and have no issues.

Do you have pics how it looks, up and down? Also, a link to the liner you purchased. Thanks.

Down

I leave mine down. It's too hard to squeeze dead deer in with the 3rd row up after hunting. (bolt)

Depends...

If I need space I keep it down.

If I am hauling my three kids plus another adult it is up :o).

I compromise with 1 seat up and 1 seat down. The seat I keep is on the opposite side of car seat in 2nd row. That way I can seat 5 easily (+ car seat), but still have 1/2 of a deep trunk for stroller, golf clubs, etc

Obviously I put both up or down as necessary.

up or down

Up, nearly all the time, since with 3 kids either one of them prefers to be back there, or have a friend or two tagging along. And love of course how easy it is to put them up/down.

Usually one up and one down to hold the stroller in place so that it doesn't slide around. Unless I need the extra passenger room, then I stand the stroller sideways, put up the other 3rd row seat and keep the stroller behind the third row seats.

Speaking of 3rd row, does anyone else have issues with motion sick/dizzy 3rd row passengers? It seems like the back ends up feeling like a roller coaster (especially when driving in hilly areas).

Yes, 2 out of my 4 boys have gotten car sick back there. And we just so happen to live in a hilly and curvy area, that begs you to have fun on it. And of course the CX-9 answers the call, loud and clear =)
