Do you ever see another Mazda2 on the road?

I just looked at mine at the dealer for the first time Tuesday, then yesterday I see two of them within 15 minutes of each other, maybe it's because I'm paying more attention to them now?

I see them all the time in the Houston metro.

Saw them all the time back in Indiana, and when i moved saw a lot on I80 to California and see a few here and there. A few with some nice new rims on it but nothing I couldn’t resist driving up next to, thats also when you notice a major difference in the H&R lowering springs. Then i just speed past it.

I saw three of them yesterday. Weird. I usually see maybe one a week, not counting the other one in my neighborhood.

I hardly saw them on the road at first but now I'm seeing them a lot more. There are 3 just at my job alone! I don't know if i like that.

I see a red one driven by an older lady on my way to and from work.... if I leave later I see a bald guy in a white one.... I saw my car's twin yesterday! And a blue one today with SC plates o_O

Still a rare site for me on the east side of Portland. Saw 1 about a week ago, total count is up to 3, I know they have to be out there, just hiding from me I guess. Dealers seem to have inventory coming in pretty good now and as green as Portland is, or wants to be anyway, should start seeing more of them around soon.

We've seen more Fiat 500's than Mazda 2's!

Just passed 2,800 miles, time time to run it in for it's 1st oil change this weekend!

I saw another red sport one day stop at the grocery store. Could not resist parking lot next to it. I hope I have been there when everyone else left the store. In addition, I see the green around Omaha, but there is no other than these two.

I live in the NYC metro area. We've had ours for nearly a year now, and early on went months without seeing another one. At one point we were keeping track of how many we had spotted, and were struggling to reach a half dozen. Even the dealer where we bought it doesn't have any on display.

Mazda is so busy selling all the 3's they can build (we traded a '07 Speed 3 in for the 2) that I guess they don't feel the need to push the 2, even with the high gas prices in our area.

here where i live in BC... one of the rental car company's decided to pick up the Mazda2 as its compact rental car... so now i see them EVERYWHERE.... hopefully by the time im done with mine, people will know thats its me and not some tourist with a rental car lol!

only had mine about 2 weeks but ive never seen any in houston. and the dealer said they dont sell many considering they only had 2.

Saw a true red one parked across the street from my Y yesterday. It had commercial plates so it was probably a rental. It was a sport. I didn't look inside but my money's on it being an auto.

well ever since my last post i have now seen 3 others (2 green and a white) one of the greens had the darkest tint ive ever seen. from what i saw it was literally like just black. lol

I drove from Detroit to Arnold, MD over the weekend and saw only one other 2. I believe it was a white sport down in Annapolis on Saturday but it was dark so it could have been a touring.

Crazy. You drove right through my area. I'm starting to see a lot more north of the Baltimore beltway. I've seen 2 Green, 1 red, a silver and 2 more black ones besides mine. With the exception of one black touring and my black sport manual, they are all sport autos.

I've had mine for about 4-5 months now in South Jersey and have yet to spot a single 2 in the area, people just don't know what they're missing out on. I blame Mazda for not pushing it enough, early on in late 2010 and early 2011 i saw the tv ads daily and now i haven't seen one in months.

I honestly think that Mazda is having more of a supply chain issue from the quake than they are letting on. Here in MD, unless dealers aren't updated their inventory lists, there are a total of 7 brand new Mazdas in the MD area.

I understand how more drivers means more support for the Mazda 2 especially in the aftermarket division but honestly I like driving a car that no one else drives. Makes me feel special.

this. i feel the same way but not in a showboat manner :P

but there were only 2 2's at the dealer i bought it from. there was only 1 at the one i didnt go to. and some others said they wernt getting any/not for awhile.

so its not very popular right now i guess. most ppl want the fiesta for that dual dry cluth 40million miles to the gallon stuff. but ill enojoy my 35mpg with even more fun and handling. =]
