Do I suck?

graduated in 99 from my final course ( did a few ) and since then I have NEVER been asked for my marks.

NEVER

i graduate in may, every interview i've been on has asked for a transcript along with my resume before agreeing to an interview

it seems like companies asking for your gpa varies from profession to profession. I wouldn't worry to much about the whole situation. it may take time but just keep interviewing and start somewhere that can grow over time.

I always got an interview first. The company that hired me only asked for a transcript just to prove that I got a degree. They didn't even look at my grades.

Should I put my high school info on my resume? I attended a prestigous international high school so it would be an advantage.

I dont think that GPA is as important in professions that are not in the technical field. If your GPA is below a 3.0 don't put it on your resume.

I have a 2.9 cumulative. Drinking a lot first year or two really screwed me up. Also I had a class that I stopped going to and never withdrew from "F+". That really screwed me over.

I went to a job interview for a pharmaceuticals sales job. They wanted a 3.0 and wouldnt take my 2.9. Pricks. I even pulled a 3.7 my last semester, taking 8 classes plus a one credit class and working 30 hours a week. (jerkit)

I just got a new sales job, selling for HP. Right now I sell medical supplies and have been having responsibilities piled onto me since they seem to like me. Maybe they don't like me. (hrm) Anywho, I plan to get a bunch of experience under my belt before making a go at what I really want to do which is operations management for a large production company. Yeah, production manager, what a dream! (lol2)

Sure, why not. If you put your grad date from H.S. they know how old you are. A lot of companies are looking for YOUNG recent grads from college. Since they can't tell how old you are by your grad date from college they can tell with your H.S. grad date.

Of course I guess this could work the opposite for you if they want some old head in there.

you shouldn't put much from high school on it if any at all. when i was taking my one day resume writing class with a recruiter teaching it she basically told us all that stuff from high school is great, but it's 4 years ago, so who cares, show us what you've done since then. if you have room to put it then it's not terrible to have it on there, but it should be tough to fit everything onto 1 page as it is, so you may not have room

if it is not too late, i was out of town, i like to add my $0.02. AS far as high school info, they don't care, you can get your g.e.d. and still get into a college. under the circumstances that you went to high school with some rep, you could include it into your charecter profile or accomplishments on your resume, might add some glamour.
