Do I need new front end links?

Hello, I added a MS3 rear bar to my 5 this summer when I refreshed my suspension and it is a great addition. However, it makes me now want some more rigidity in the front of the car. Can I use OEM end links or are they not stiff enough for the speed three front bar?

Thanks everyone,
-Jordan

It never hurts to upgrade from factory parts.
Since you've upgraded the front swaybar it necessary for the end links.

If you've lowered the car at all via springs or coilovers you'll need adjustable endlinks to not preload the swaybar with stock links.

Good luck.
Measure the end link you need and see what RockAuto has available. 👍

Adjustable links are not 100% needed, especially for a street car. Also, the MS3 bars are not THAT much bigger where heavy links are needed.

If you installed the MS3 front sway bar, OEM style Mazda5 links will be just fine, unless the bar holes are bigger like in the rear. IN that case, get the OEM style MS3 front links.

The above being said, surf RockAuto and check out the Mevotech Supreme links. There are a bit bigger than the OEM links, and will work just fine.

Thanks for the quick replies!

My car is on stock springs with Koni SA front dampers and KYB gas-a-just rear.
I upgraded the rear end links because the holes were larger than the 5's factory RSB. From my research it seems the front MS3 FSB bar holes are the same as the 5. I was mostly concerned about stressing my stock end links to failure but it doesn't seem that will be the case for my DD that only sees spirited driving.

Also, I wasn't sure if I could use a OEM non adjustable MS3 front end link because the MS3 rides lower than the 5 so the holes wouldn't line up??

According to the Mevotech catalog, the MS3 front end links are the same length as the Mazda5 end links.
