So about 2 weeks after I got my car I had 2 jerks open their doors into my car (that was in 2003) both in the same week. So finally today I decided to do something about it. There is a specialist here in town who takes dints out for a living. See the before and after pictures... did a pretty good job, took about 30 minutes. Was pretty cheap too!

he didn't use suction cups... he used some rod thingies, a rubber punch and rubber hammer.... was pretty interesting how he did it.

I'll see if I can find a better before picture.

they dont use the suction cups. they used rods with dif size and dif type of ends on them. hmm i cant see any dents..

Ah the good ol suction cups

hmm well when my friend kicked in my caddy's rear quarter, he made a dent about 1ft long, I used my G-tech mount suction cup (which is rated at 250lbs or something ridiculous like that) to pull it out and it looked like new so they have their use :)

the guy who did it said the suction cups work sometimes, but they won't do as good of a job... and with the cups it has a possiblity of falling back in again... the only way this way can fall back in is another asshole opens their doors into your car lol

Sorry for jacking but how do you like that GTech? If you want pm me, I might buy one.

Unless you do a lot of drag racing or want to datalog acceleration/braking and turning Gs on a road course, save your money.

I love it, btw, but it rarely gets used.

was it one of those people who works ou tof their cars? ive had a couple of those ask me but i never knew if i could trust their work..

yeah he works out of his car... I went to his house... but he does work for all the dealerships and insurance companies in town.... he also gets shipped around the world to do this work.... thought that was cool.

does he do touch up too? I live in Cali and **** those ppl who park so damn close to you, then bang on your door so that they can get their fat ass out. My mp5 is so scratch up on the side I have to pretend I don't care about her.
