(nailbyt) Would there be any negative effects to running a +48 offset up front and a +45 in the rear? of course they will be the same rim widths, sizes, and tire series. But would there be any long term problems with this idea? would the wider track in the rear cause any problems to the rear diff like a larger tire would? will it burn out faster?

You should be fine, lots of people do it...Subie's, Evo's, MS6....My next set of 18x10's will be staggered offset for the best fit. As long as width and tire size are the same...

yeah thay will be. i just hate how the backs are sunken a bit more then the front and was praying this would not be a problem. have you ever herd of someone running a 18x8.5 +48 up front with a 225/40 tire?
