Hey, so when i had an audi a4, we had a program called "Vag-Com" made by Ross-Tech: www.ross-tech.com

we could pretty much log any sensor or combination of sensors on the car to determine problems. like maf readings, a rough air/fuel, knock sensors, timing correction. you could recode control modules for things such as rolling the windows up and down with the keyless remote.

is there anything like this for mazdas? or do we have to use generic obdII stuff? are accessport or the xede interceptor good for anything like this?

I have this one:

i use one called tekmate www.tekmatetools.com is the site it is kinda finicky software wise or at least has been for me but it lets you see all the sensors pull and reset codes though i can't record the readings i believe i can only see real time there may be a better package that will let you but its not very expensive so it gets the job done... i know a lot of guys liked the scantool i believe that was the name of another tool that let you record and do a lot of the things you were saying and it was around 2x the cost of the tekmate somwhere around 3-4 bills iirc...

I second the auterra product. It gives 15 + live data views. Records, does graphing, clears codes, and is very easy to use. The price is on par with other programs w/ similar capabilities.
