DG Motorsports All-wheel drive MS3

Thats pretty cool. Im sure it cost well into the $6000-7000 range for the whole thing.

Something I would do if I have that kind of money laying around though.

Prety crazy but it doesn't handle like I would like it too considering it's AWD. But I guess that's what happens when you get it from the MS6.

its pretty difficult for it to handle like a STi or a Evo considering its not running any kind of the monitoring and control systems that those cars run. Plus, the differentials being used in those cars are much more suited for performance. If that MS3 is using what I think its using for AWD (MS6 or volvo parts), its simply a fo-AWD Haldex system.

The good thing is, the haldex system in both the MS6 & volvo cars can have its "brain" changed and add in a few more parts to give it a more active roll and improve performance.

We must also consider that we don't know what kind of suspension or tires DG is running on the car. On top of that, the rims are possibly running crazy offset which screws up your Scrub radius and can lead to horrible horrible sluggishness and screw up suspension geometery.

Unfortunately for us, DG is mostly a visual company. sure they have there performance cars and projects, but you don't see many performance parts come from them. if CP-E was doing the conversion or one of our performance groups, this car would probably perform much better. Its a good start though!

yea i wich dude u would have to get a new trany, drishaft, diff, axels, fuel cell and all the suspention componet i say it would be in the $10,000 or more rage

i just wish they gave us an AWD option to begin with.. thatd be hott.

Well in that case I think your better off just buying a Subaru. The speed 3 is perfect the way it is in my opinion, if you understand the dynamics of driving this little rocket you should have no problem carving canyons either, and that's coming from someone that converted from Subaru.

because of interior differences, just sit in a subie and look at the dash

then look at ours

the speed 3 /pwns the subie in all interior by far

the wrx seats are terrible, flat, boring

whats so special about the ms3. looks like a bunch of cheap plastic thats shiney.

i loved my suby seats, and i thought the interior was suited more for the enthusiast because well its kinda boring but i didnt buy the car for a "pretty" interior

the suby seats are flat and uncomfortable, ms3 is a great looking interior (as every comparison between the ms3 and wrx have said also) the seats dont compare at all, i have owned an STi and a wrx imprezza (07 and 06) and an 07 speed 3 (CWP) and now a TR speed 3 GT i like the 08 speed 3 (TR GT) the best but it would be really nice to have an AWD system as a factory option still

i meant to say the STi is the 2007, WRX Imprezza 2006, white speed 3 2007, and 2008 true red speed 3 gt

well everyone has different opinions. the seats in the ms3 arent bad by any means, i just feel like the interior is cheap looking. eh i could really care less anyway.

granted though my wrx and my legacy never really had full interiors for long.

Yeah, but when your opinion is different than those that actually review cars, it's you.
