DFW Boosts Up!!! (with pics!)

well yea but u knew that before you bought it. Im sorry you werent happy with it, i think the money spent total u still made out but, sorry i guess. you shoulda said something and i would gave u your money back.

but you *knew* that the s*** was missing parts and still advertised it as a "complete" kit

it's one thing when you didn't know that the bypass coolant pipe is different on the MSP and the normal proteges due to the oil cooler s***, but it's another when his s*** was missing the turbo lines.... YES, I'm talking about the coolant lines that bolt into the turbo itself, the oil line and the oil tee block at the back of the engine... and yes, I'm also talking about the ******* coolant elbow hose that had leaking problems on early MSPs

those important parts were obviously unique to the MSP when you took the s*** off your car, especially when they attach DIRECTLY to the turbo

so don't give me ANY bulls*** that you "didn't know" that those parts were needed... it's ok when the "kit" was missing 1 or 2 parts, but it's bulls*** when it's missing more than half a dozen parts

WTF happened to the oil cooler gasket? what about the turbo oil return line and fittings? they're *not* bolts that can simply be "forgotten"

like I said, I'd understand if you didn't know the AC condensor was needed, and I'd understand if you didn't know the coolant bypass pipe was needed for the oil cooler to work... but to say "you shoulda said something"? apocman actually wrote to you that there were all this missing s*** a few weeks ago and you told him that they would be sent... so where are the ******* parts? what difference would it have made if pacman said something during this past week? after the bulls*** you've pulled, you think that any of us would believe that you will overnight the parts?

It's great that he got a deal out of the "kit", but fact is, you still deceived the buyer and delivered empty promises, and that's WRONG

very much thanks to you, his project got delayed 2 days because of the missing parts... there was a schedule to be operated from, and the car *had* to be running by this weekend because it's his only car

you have a nerve for saying "i would gave your money back"... instead, you should've just sent him the money anyway for the missing parts if you wanted to prove yourself as a man with honor and dignity

Hold on, just simple clairifications need to be made :)

It was actually PacMan who emailed him. I told him what to write and stayed in contact with PacMan to ensure that it was written properly to ensure we had a clear understanding of what parts wew would have to buy or make etc...

From the emails sent and the replies given, I was under the impression that PacMan would receive all parts needed or very close to all parts needed...

Either way; we were still able to complete the project and he now has a great running boosted P5!!!!

I don't want us to all get worked up over it and create more drama on the board...

Terbow, TheMan is a very passionate person who has great knowledge about our cars and cars in general and he is a very to the point kind of person... I have to agree the board should ensure that when people advertise complete kit or something along those lines that it in fact be just that all parts needed to create a boosted vehicle....

TheMan, we have to keep in mind that quite a few others do not have the knowledge set that you posses so things that are truly trivial to you may not be to them... I do feel that he had to have some level of knowing that PacMan would need additional parts and I don't know if the error was with PacMan or Terbow or a shared misunderstanding... I know what I thought, but I'm not able to state what they both thought; either way, we should assist the board and in the future when we see forsale threads we should ask those questions in the thread to ensure all parties have a true clear understandings of what is actually forsale and what is actually needed for a true turn-key kit...

Reguards...

ApocMan ;)

regardless of who sent the mails, it's still blatantly obvious that those (expensive!) turbo lines are NEEDED and don't just magically exist on a non-turbo protege!

are you guys ****** serious? I listed EVERYTHING it came with. If someone chose to buy it with what was there then thats my problem? thats why you guys waited HOW many months to say something about it? I mean really. I didnt decieve anybody, this is crap, you have NO right to talk to me like that. I put it all on the table what exactly was included. On top of that i told him if ANYTHING was missing/ really needed to contact me. Did i get a message ? no i didnt. Soon as i noticed the rad brackets were different i sent them out. so how is this my fault how dare you edwin, you dont know both side and then you accuse me. **** this place ive had it, im done with forums, i didnt have to sell s***. if any of you didnt approve then you shoulda said something months ago. oh yea and waterlines are an addon, they ARE NOT REQUIRED to run a turbo kit. IF he really wanted them he could have said something. I told him he should tap the pan cause i cant give him the msp girdle with the drain, so how is it my fault he bought a plate and needed it? how is it my fault his setup is different and i told him he needs a feed line.

omg someone got a turbo kit for less than 2k lets all b**** about it.

come on don't leave!!! no biggie all is well kit is working perfectly turbo was in great condition and he is driving a boosted P5...

No biggie, like I said probaly just communication error and just some misunderstanding between all involved...

I didn't bring up the "msp girdle" and I don't care about it... I don't expect any "kit" or anyone selling used s*** to come with it.... nice that you're bringing s*** up I didn't mention, but I don't care about that s***... I care ONLY about the main core parts which are basically the s*** that's bolted ON the engine... essential parts which were missing

the coolant lines are not an "addon" for a ******* ball bearing turbo!
I suppose you're going to say the oil line is an "addon" too which you didn't include? it's an important BASIC part, and it wasn't included nor was the oil tee block

yeah, I *could've* told you "months ago" what was missing from the "kit"... but guess what? I'm not interested in a turbo kit at this point in time, so I skipped over your sale thread.... you're trying to push responsibility of basically complete "kit" to someone else when it is YOUR responsibility as a seller to make sure you're sending practically everything that's needed

like I said, those lines attaching to the turbo were OBVIOUSLY unique to the MSP... so don't try to whitewash that fact by saying this "addon" s***

I don't care how much you sold the s*** for, and I don't care if there were missing parts, as LONG as you actually said it was a "partial" kit... but you didn't say that, so this is what the problem is! more so, all we can do is b**** at each other now without knowing exactly what you posted because you edited your sale post with "sold to texas"

you have it all wrong. i never said it included EVERY part even pacman knew that. never once did i say it, i may have put complete but inside the post it wasnt misleading in ANY form i wrote down EVERYHING that was included. sorry but i didnt know waterlines were required, my other turbo didnt need them. if it was a problem i would have gladlly handed them over. he didnt have the girdle so how could he use the return line? he cant, he would have to make his own. as i told him. same with the feed. he could have made his own. no one said to go to the dealer and it was well known those items were not included. i dont get how your still argueing. your obviously stubborn.

its not fair that this was obviously discussed and i can guarentee some s*** talking went on over this and alls someone had to do was ask. not everyone knows every piece of the car. i told him ANY THING he needed that i didnt include to let me know. the drain i didnt think he could use cause he didnt have the girdle anyhow so it would be too short. i didnt think the water lines were required cause ive run turbos plenty of times without them. your extremely unfair. no one said anything and i came to check up on him and i get blasted by you. its crap i dont need this stress, cause it bothers me when someone is unhappy. the things i didnt include were not unknown. i was very clear. hes had the kit for many months and should have said something. so dont talk s*** to me.

this is my last reply cause i dont care what you have to say, i did nothing wrong, i was very clear, in what came with it. i even offered to send more parts if needed. i should have just kept the stock stuff in the basement. instead i gave someone an excellent deal, told them they have to buy less than 500.00 in parts to have a running kit. I gues he could have just spend 4k on another kit then. I didnt whitewash or mislead or anything you said im doing. I edited the post cause it was MONTHS after and i dont see the problem. He never complained once so how is this my fault? its not. Your a complete asshole edwin, Im glad yout sticking up for big texas but you got me all wrong and your attitude sucks.

I'm going to be doing this swap VERY soon, so this is helpful. The more pics, the better! So you definitely need the ac condensor from the msp? If I take some pics and make a list of what I currently have, do you guys think you can tell me what more I'd need? Texas FTW! Thanks again guys!

goddamn. it's not terbow's fault the install was delayed. stop bitching and moaning.

Come on Tebow, don't take it so hard and TheMan don't get all worked up...

all is good in the land of boost...

MSP Rad is shorter due to the SMIC.

AC is shorter as well?
Yea, I have the msp radiator and fans. I didn't think I would have to change the ac out after a quick eyeball, but you guys are the resident experts so your input is appreciated. And make with the pics! (rockon)

yea the p5 AC condensor is too wide to fit the oem msp sidemount. I duuno what pacman did about it though. maybe he got it to fit?
