Hey guys:
I think I might have bad luck.... I bought a brand new Silver 2008 Speed 3 Saturday the 19th of this month. Yesterday around 4:30pm (Saturday the 26th) I was heading to my friends house when out of nowhere I see something out of the corner of my eye. The field on the passenger side was slopped so they were coming up and on an angle too so I never really saw any of the deer till the one closest to the road was about 10 feet away and then smack.
The deer took my passenger mirror right off, hit the passenger side pillar (which took the brunt of the damage) and bent in so far that it cracked the windshield, the passenger side window is scratched along with the plastic trim that is scuffed, the passenger side door is scratched in several places, my hood is scuffed on the clear coat and has a small dent, the fender is bent at the top near the pillar, the roof has two dents in it, and my back fender near the last window and the passenger side brake light is pushed in like a circular dent about 10 inches wide(looks like a basketball hit it) along with a hard indentation in the middle about 4 inches long which was probably from a hoove where it really has a seem. That is dented so bad that the edge where the corner where the body comes to an edge is sharp and the paint cracked.
I was so pissed off and in shock at the same time because this was my first brand new car and the first time having a warranty. The car was perfect, it was brand new. I don't even want this car anymore even if they decide to try to fix it. My guess though is that since it hit the pillar and bent the metal how it did, they would probably have to have the whole pillar cut out and replaced. That means they would have to strip the interior etc. I don't want it to be repaired because it will never be the same. This is not how I wanted to introduce myself into the community. (burn)
I kept driving down about 800 feet and pulled off on a side road and called my mom and then my dad came in about 10 minutes. He took pictures of everything and the deer and then this hick shows up (last day of hunting season) and my dads like we have a fresh one right here for you. So the guy took the deer.
Someone cheer me up because I feel like s*** right now. All I can think about is if I would have left seconds earlier or later that this would never of happened. Its always something, I can never just have a normal week. (argh)
I will put pictures up in a few hours, I know you'll be dying to see them.... well maybe you won't want to see a wrecked speed3. I'm depressed.
