Debadging a 2020

Before I spend the time to take a hair dryer and fishing line to my car, can anyone verify if the 'Signature', 'AWD', and 'Skyactive' are taped on or riveted in? I'm sure the 'CX-5' must be taped as they're too small, and probably the "signature' and AWD also.

And not to get side-tracked, this is not meant to be a discussion as to "why would you want to......" Or "when you sell your car someone will think it was in an accident if you take them off" - can always be taped back on. Those are discussions for it's own thread.

I believe the most common badges have pegs (CX-5 lettering, Mazda emblem, Skyactiv badge). Pretty sure they aren't riveted in, they just use the pegs to ensure the emblems are mounted and aligned correctly.

Not sure about our 2019 Gen2, but on our 2014 Gen1, the rear Skyactive badge (at least) was simply double-sided stickeyed on, no pegs.

I debadged my Subarus because Subaru puts a ton of stuff on the backs of their cars.

The badging of Mazdas is very tasteful in my opinion, I won't be touching them.
