Dealership giving us 1k credit for accessories

Topic says it! Just got a call and the dealership is going to give us a 1000 dollars store credit because of a mix up on their part. I have yet to look at the mazdaspeed book to see what they have but this is what i was thinking.

I can upgrade my stereo to include the 6 disc changer and mp3 player = 520
Siruis satelite component = 430
cargo net = 40
total = 990

I dont know how much the mazdaspeed exhaust and intake run so if anyone knows that info I can look into them. Let me know what you guys think

Cat back or Coilovers ftw! Coils are around 1500 plus install but thats still a screamin deal. Heck get the cat back and the MS CAI. Im not all that impressed with the head unit so i wouldnt even want the 6 disk changer, but its your freebies.

They tried to scam us on a desert protection plan that they said was on the vehicle and could not be taken off! Well i get home and inspect the vehicle further and it was never put on so I went back to find out it was more of a scam than anything.....they tried to buy us off with 2 years of free oil changes and 5 tanks of gas and a dash mat...I still didnt feel vindicated so i asked for 1k in MSP accesories and they agreed.

hmmm or maybe it was super extra thick paint so the blowing sand would have to chip through layer upon layer to get down to the base coat

but i would go with the exhaust/intake for sure!

I agree the exhaust and intake seems to be the way to go. I went to the parts department and they pulled some numbers for me

Sport Exhaust Part# GRMS-BM-L26 = 729.00
Cold Air I part # GRMS-8M-L29 = 399.00

Mazda sure is proud of their MSP parts....

Skip the exhaust because it does not improve HP. Just get the intake. Or maybe you should go for the rays wheels if you like them.

I went to Peoples and they BLOW! Will never buy a car there again no matter what they do for me.

If that's true than the catback exhaust would be a waist because i like the stock sound already...Not to loud but sounds good.

I am talking with the GM tomorrow at 10:30 and I am going to push for them to just cut me a check for the 1k! If I get away with that then I am going to put some nice wheels on the car. I had a 03 GTI that had some 17x8.5 in the front and 17x9.5 in the back and it looked really good. I know its useless to have the wide wheels in the back on a front wheel drive car but it really looked good. I have not seen anyone do the staggered look on the Speed3's yet so maybe I can do that. I do not have many good pics of the old car because they were on a hard drive that failed and I was not able to get them. I do have a couple pictures of the my garage and you can see the car a little but be warned the pictures do suck.

I think your talking about the ASA wheels! I am going to go with something in the 2piece or 3piece line. I have had 1 piece cast wheels on many cars but my 93 Supra TT had the 3 piece line and the quality is much better than a 1 piece cast. Its so much easier to specify a offset with the 2 and 3 piece wheel. I am looking at something like:

the last ones are nice but the fact that it has 5 extra holes is gay...the second ones are nice too, id get rims that have only 5 holes...when they have extra it looks bad imo
