So we took the MSP in for the hesitation, and for some puling to the right. The car has 200 miles on it.
Drop it off and printed the sheet I made with this info I typed up.
They call us back and say, or your car was already flashed at the beginning of the year and there is no problem. That the flash is old news.
We get there and they guy says they have the latest WDS and there are no patches for the PCM, when we told him there was, he said we have the newest WDS as of two weeks ago, when we told him there is a newer one which came out around the 10th, and that was the only way he could download the flash the guy was being a total dick.
On top of that they said they align the cars when they come in new, but lost the alignment sheet. When we asked about why the car was pulling, he said they did not even check it.
So we dropped it off, at 1PM come back at 4PM and they did nothing. We even gave them a sheet of other Service managers to call if they had issues. Also we put what WDS software they needed to get the patch and still they did nothing.
Frustrating, I blame Mazda for not putting out a TSB for this.
A complete re-flash should qualify, obviously, they don't want to make this a major issue, or have every MSP owner coming in for it because they don't want to be billed for over 10,000 hours of labor.

1.) There is no official TSB for the hesitation issue.
2.) There was a Tech tip e-mail sent to all of the Mazda service managers around the country about the "Bucking, hesitation" and the email mentions the re-flash or new build with the file name. (Some did not get the email)
3.) Dealers need to update their systems to the "27/4 WDS Update" This will enable them to plug into the diagnostics port to scan, for potential updates.
4.)Once it finds that an update is available it will give them the file name of the flash needed. "Q0AP4C0"
5.)The Techs download it to floppy and load it on the flash tool.
6.)The flash process begins which takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.
