Dealer service??? WTF you will laugh...

Ok I really question the service of the dealerships all the time. Here is a storie that brings a question as to why I even bother most times.

This one was today;

They received a new face plate for my deck.... So I say let me just go change it in the lot and we can be all done...he says no they have to do it cause of warranty issues.. I am like OK whatever....So I leave to go for lunch accross the street. 45 minutes later I walk over and wonder why my face plate still hasn't been changed. I walk in and ask them if I can go in the shop to see what's going on with my car. he said no and I said I got 15 mintues to get back to work let me go check first... I get there and OMG...they pull the entire deck out.. trying to figure out how to replace the face plate... after waiting for 1 hour I asked them what was going on... cause a face plate takes 2 seconds to change... gggrrrrr then I tell them to install everythign back and I will show them what to do... after that... I show them and the entire shop was like WOW... that's easy.. thanks for showing us... I was going to ask $20 each for entertaining them with their stupidity.

Now this is a simple stereo and a face plate... not rocket science... now I wonder what they did with my tranny when they had to rebuild it when I had the broken shifter fork..... hhmmm should I even start to wonder....

Why are these people so dumb....

Perfect example of why I don't even let them dumb fuckers change my oil. If they were intellegent people, then they wouldn't be working there right?? So how could you trust your vehicle with someone who has the I.Q. of a salad bowl without the dressing?? **** that, I would send them a bill for tech support, like $300, and submit them a bill for the time they made you wait. I'm serious,i have done things like this before, with doctors and laywers that tell you to be at thier office at a certain time, and make you wait in the waiting room. Believe me, they will stop making you wait like an ass, and put thier best people on your car. BELIEVE ME, I do it all the time.

Lol that's too funny! I had problems with my faceplate too and thankfully they let me "install" the new one myself. It was funny tho because when I brought it in at first, the old guy at the parts desk was like "where's the rest of the stereo?"

Took me a few minutes to explain the concept of a removeable face...damn fool! :)

damn, i guess i just got lucky having a great service shop. most of the guys there do there own work after hours. one of the guys did a 350 conversion on an RX-7 (the guy that did my tranny) and he knew what was wrong with it when he heard it. i guess im lucky
