I got in my MSP a little while ago and the radio worked. About a mile down the radio it went blank with no sound whatsoever. Now when the car is turned off or on, the kenwood is stuck at the position as if it is ejecting a CD. I can remove the face plate and the holder folds back into the dash. Any one had the same problem and know who to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated:wtf:

couple people have had this same prob, on the front of the face is a reset button, push it, this is how everyone else fixed theres.

If that dosen't work, Kenwoods will reset if they loose power for about 5 min. Unplug the battery or fuse to the stereo for 5 or 10.

Try it...You might like it.(canada)

just tried the reset button. DIDN'T WORK!! GD!! guess i will go unhook the battery now. Thanks a lot. Ill let you know what happens.

i bet the dealer would know how to fix it :)
the one i test drove did this and it had like 10 miles on it. needless to say i didn't buy that one

All you need to do is pull the room fuse out. It is located under the dash and it is a 10A fuse. you just need to pull it out and put it back in. Good Luck.:)

i called the dealer and he told me to do the room fust thingy and it too didn't work! I am about to drive this POS off a cliff. GD!!!

well the room fuse fixed the part of it being stuck in the open position. Now I still have no power. It is just a blank screen staring and laughing at me. WHAT DO I DO!! To much trouble to go to Mazda. almost 2 hours away.

Try the reset button now. You may have to hold it in for a couple seconds. The same thing happened to me last week. I didn't have to screw with the fuses, but did need to use the reset button. I hate losing all my settings!!!
