Dead Pope

When the **** is he gonna die? That's the question on everyones mind. They should have an open competition for the next pope. Full contact Pope-a-thon. Make those old folks run an obstacle course while carrying large bibles over their heads, barefoot over broken glass - chased by wild dogs.

Seriously though - the next pope is gonna be old again - and will probably die soon. Why not mix things up and put a young jewish kid in his place. The kid will live longer - and maybe they will stop making those extravagant churches, and spend the money on the poor. Not to mention the fact that I've heard very little about jewish people molesting kids and covering it up. Well, except for that rabbi who passed herpes onto a bunch kids (killing some of them) by circumcizing them with his mouth. Personally, I think that's pretty disgusting, but hell - put a download link on the www.thenewpope.com - and let people pay to watch. The new pope - now with weenie biting!

Sadly enough - I never got any play from the papal figures.

However I'm no stranger to church girls and bible thumpers. I was raised a Jehovahs Witness and though I haven't been one for a very long time, I did read the bible every day. I knocked on strangers doors every weekend. Crazy s*** looking back, but it worked out - the bible is interesting to know - for many reasons.

And when you spend every weekend from roughly birth until age 18 knocking on strangers doors trying to talk to them about the bible when all they wanna do is go back to sleep on their day off - s***, if you can do that - you can talk to just about anyone.

And if someone is wondering - I'm best described as non partisan agnostic. I don't remember anything before I was born, and I don't expect anything after(e.g. - heaven, hell, purgatory, nirvana, battlefield earth, etc). I think religion has it's place - just isn't for me currently. One day I might change my mind - who knows?

it's incredible how many truly ignorant and mildly retarded peolpe post on this board. is their any reason you idiots have to openly bash and make light of the fate of someone who has contributed more to the human race than you could ever imagine? and don't try to blame him or make him accountable for the perverse actions of some of the clergy out there. he held his position with dignity and humanity and by showing the world how to be compationate and forgiving. i am by no means a bible thumper, but in aworld which is getting worse every day some of us should look towards the people out there that really try to make things better and thank them and not ridicule their life and their actions.

in other words GROW UP.

What were his views on abortion and gay marriage? To openly dictate to others on the premise of faith what they can and cannot do when not harming others - that is ignorant. To stick to the Bibles principles on sodomy in word - yet move papal figures and priests when allegations are made (and proven) is ignorant.
