DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

Where did you get the harness? I assume a battery harness? I'm
Very new to this. I wonder how good DDM's instructions are!
Battery harness was on the same site.

Buy from the retrofit source! I bought the ddm Tuning ballast and they wouldn't even turn on! I'm going throught the so called warranty process and they still haven't replied emailed or called back, it's been over a month!! Matt at TRS will take care of you and will make sure you get the best quality that you can get!!!
I'm assuming you tried reversing the connections to the bulbs first.......

i just bought a ddm raptor kit for my Mazda5 a couple months ago. it came with no instructions what so ever, which is fine because i knew what i was doing.

no need for the harness on the Protege5. i've have run the same kit for 3 years now on my P5 without the harness with no issues. i just had to snip the single DRL wire since i am in canada and have daytime running lights. if you have drl's thats the easiest way to disable them but you have to turn the headlights on for them to come on.

the next easiest would be to actually get the extra harness from DDM and put a 470uF(or 4700uF) capacitor with a voltage rating of more than 12v (i used a 470uF 50v, many use 25v or 35v) and attach it to the positive and negative terminals of the relay in the wiring harness, so the headlights will come on whenever the DRL's should be on with no flickering. i had to do this with my Mazda5 as there was no other simple way of dealing with the flicker problem.

I have been running DDM's 35W 8k HIDs in my P5 for over a year with no problem. I run them during the day too just because I can :D.

I am currently running them without a harness. I'm about to buy a set of 8ks for my fog lights. Should I buy a harness for the headlights, both, or should it be okay without?

I've had 55w 3ks as my low beams for almost 2 years with no problems what so ever, no harness either. I also put 35w 8ks as my high beams, 6k LEDs as my fogs and have 30k 35watts for the fogs on the way. The p5 can handle anything you throw in it. No problem :p

I put a set of 6000k 35w slim ballast HID's in my EM2 civic and they are awsome. Excellent quality for the price. I have had no problems at all. Very happy with the DDM kit...

i got the 35w low beam kit. my high beam indicator stays half lit while my low beams are on. anyone else run into this issue or have any suggestions?

In case anyone is curious. Yellow P5 is DDM Raptor Slim 55w, @ 6000K low/fogs. The black P5 is no name brand 35w low/fog @ 8000K
