yeah, i think there were almost 40 cars there at the original meeting point, about 25 went to the restaurant, and 15-20 of them actually went in and ate...

The breakdown was kinda like this:
20 WRXs
7 STIs
3 MSPs
3 6s(one was a hatch)
1 P5(me )
2 EVOs
2 Forrester XTs
2 SRT-4s
1 S2000
1 GTI R32
1 E46 M3
1 MKIII Supra
1 Ducati

Ooh, that's almost twice the turnout of the last meet. Last time the only Mazda reps were NoVaMSP and TheRecruit's MSPs. Probably the same S2000 and Ducati.

the MSPs were NoVaMSP, AUTOX MSP, and #878MSPCHICK.

I dont think any of the 6 guys are on here, but there were plenty of em(lol2)

lmao(lol) I heard about that incident, but no...he didnt show up.

There are so many P5's here in NOVA, but everytime I look at the driver, he/she doesn't look like someone who's a driving enthusiast and would come to car meets. They probably got the car based solely on cargo space and looks. Ah well.

yeah, thats the way it is around here too...Hell you'd be surprised how many WRX drivers look like they got the car, "just because" and have no real thought towards the performance of the car, nor do they have any enthusiasm for it other than for transportation...car enthusiasts are a rare breed among car owners, really.

Sounds like you had a good time last night! We try our best to make everyone feel welcome to the meets. To us, it doesn't matter what you drive, if you like cars and driving, you're going to have a good time and be welcomed It was great to see all the Mazda's out there. I've always had a sweet spot for Miata's (I might have mentioned it to a few of you). Anyway, with your permission, either I or Thermobox will keep posting up the meets. I keep a running tab of who is coming on some of the other forums and would be willing to do it here. Anyway, glad to see you all out there and I hope I see you at the next one!

Come to Old Town Alexandria, where I work. I see 3 or 4 a day (probably the same 3 or 4, but hey, they're out there).

nah , not yet i keep lookin at it but its so damn hot outside ! heh
i think im going to suck it up this week and buy engine managment instead.

The next meet is on the 29th, which is a tuesday. I won't be there (I'll be on vacation) but the VP of the club (El Zorro) will be posting it in the next day or two I didn't want to post it since he wouldn't be able to update the list of people coming on the initial post.
