Very easy to install, all you need is a short stubby phillips head screwdriver. Took around 5 minutes.

A few screws and a few pop clips. The rings just press on.

IA_Rogue the needle base comes stock in silver on the 2003.5 MSPs. Nice Jersey! I have the same brushed rings. I like the reflection off them at night, it's a trip.

how hard would it be to paint the needle base.......im to afraid to break something when i take it off thats why i have not done any lights around the cluster.....i think its too dim...i love the rings tho....hella nice night shot

It shouldn't be too hard as long as your careful and have a steady hand. Oh yeah, you need a lot of patience too.

I wouldn't be able to do it. I have no patience.

i don't think it would look very good painted.... you could probbably see the brush strokes, unless you used model paint.. LOL (as opposed to touchup paint)

anywho, yes the rings are good, highly recommended!!!

oh forgot to add, if you take apart your gauges and move the needle your speedo/tach will become uncalibrated, this is bad, so if you do want to paint you will need a VERY small brush to do it so you don't disturb the needles
