My pleasure. Ken and Mike were great to work with. Boy do they know their s***. I told them if they ever needed my assistance again I would happily lend it. Now I cant wait for the new software version so I can get into all that new Mazda-specific stuff.
BTW now that I have a Dashhawk I highly, highly recommend one to all MS3 owners. The tools are awesome and the functionality is top notch. A must have for any turbo car owner.
i see 21.3 vac at idle. Also what are everybody cat temps, cause mine seem to get crazy high, just crusing around they are around 1250-1300, going all out for certain periods of time and really loading the car up in 5th or 6th i saw over 1500

Went out and played with it. Didnt do datalogs yet because theres fresh snow that just fell on the roads.
Knock retard stayed at 0 no matter what I did, until I loaded the engine up in 3rd going up hill which made it flicker 0.2 then 0.4 but back to 0, I guess thats good.
Boost temp seems to respond well with the engine, as stated, I dont know if its accurate just yet.
Some of the other stuff did some interesting stuff, I guess thats the raw data, lol.
Ill do some datalogs tomorrow on my way home from work.
EDIT: Oh, and the AFR seems to be more where this car should be than the AFR from the Fuel parameters. I always thought they were a bit high, low 11s at the lowest This car runs filthy pig rich, reported as low as low 9s, high 8s in extreme cases. Tonight I saw 10s several times which I never saw with the other AFR PID. I may be wrong, but to me it seems more where it should be.

I am currently running Beta8... You're telling me that my A/F Ratios are inaccurate? I've seen occasional spikes in the 9s, but most of the time is dead set on 10s...
i have a obd2 to usb connector and curious if you could tell me a couple of pids. what is the pid for the boost?

Unfortunately, we have a lot of travel for the rest of the week, so we probably won't have a concentrated effort until Monday to really try to make some significant changes ...
Really good data though! THANKS!

I'm not sure what he's talking about cuz when I logged them all together (A log of the two Mazda specific AFR parms along with the "standard" AFR PID (under the FUEL menu on the device)) they ALL read within .01-.03 from each other. And I think the discrepancies were just from the slight lag from the DH reading them at slightly different times. I would bet the at ECU is spitting out the same exact data for all 3 PID's.
