dash brake light on??? suggestions..

earlier today i changed the brake pads all around .. but after i did the back brakes pads the brake light came on the brakes feel great i did everything as plan just the ligh is on fluids are good and i looked for leaks but no luck ..

Mine has just started doing this as well, but the abs light was on also. Lasted about two trips then didnt come back on till a day or two later, but again only lasted a trip or so. Fluid is good and visual check of brakes/sensors show nothing out the ordinary. Hasn't come back on in a week now.

Did you adjust the parking brake properly both at the calipers and at the lever?

FYI low brake fluid will make the light come on.

Here's what to do if ONLY the brake light stays on. (not the ABS light as well)

One guy found that change had fallen down near the P-Brake switch shorting it out, making the light stay on.
