I was wondering what peoples thoughts are on dark tint on a spicy msp. I am worried about it looking odd with the orange color. There wasn't many pictures I found on the forums. Any thoughts appreciated :)

OK ... it's not a sedan and it's not spicy, but I have a few observations from my tint jobs. Thanks to the satin trim around the windows on all Pro's, dark tint looks great. C'mon! it's spicy + black = super dope-a-lishious! :)

SergMSP, Is your hood popped in that second pic? It looks like it doesn't line up as it should. Could just be the pic though.

don't worry it looks good. mine isn't super dark, but the whole orange and black theme is good.

Attached are some pics of my Spicy so you can see the tint. My windshield strip is a lot bigger now than you see in the first pic, like 8-9 inches. Go for the tint. It looks great with it. My recommendation would be to put 35% (legal here) on the sides and 20% on the back. When I bought mine it already had 35% on the front doors and 20% the rest of the way, which is a good compromise. I've been pulled over for it b/c it looks pretty dark, but when he tested my fronts, they passed, lol. He never checked the others. I also run a large, dark windshield strip to keep the sun out of my eyes.

If you've never had really dark tint on your front windows before, I'd think twice about doing it. Back in the day I bought a Mustang GT with doubled-up limo tint all the way around. I had to roll the windows down at night just to see to turn. I got pulled over for it as well and I'll never forget the cop saying, "Son, you're 2.5% away from having cardboard over your windows..." I had to strip it and have it certified that the tint was gone. On the plus side the interior was always nice and cool and with a sunshade up I could bang my g/f in the car with people walking by on both sides. Seriously, I'd never go that dark with tint again.

Well, not dark, but gives you an idea of 35% all the way around:
