Man damn the po pos. I had my car for all of 2 days and get a reckless driving ticket. And i was only going 60 in a 45. Not reckless driving (since i believe it's 30 miles over the speed limit) so the cop was just a dick. I know, I know, I probably shouldn't have been going that fast, but I'm sure someone out there can feel me

get a lawyer spend 400 for the lawyer and 50 for the defensive driving course and wala you off scott free

shows you knew you made a mistake and you have already paid enough in fees so they will usually let you go.

thats why i have 5 points and not 10!!!!!

reckless is 20mph over speedlimit!

At least you were actually speeding. I got followed and then pulled over for doing 35 in a 35 past a cop. I think he got pissed that I wasn't breaking the law. I got a warning for not having my county sticker, even though I was within the 60 days since buying my car to get it.

MSP owners just have to be careful in general, our cars stand out. Not quite as bad as say, a red Corvette, but we'd probably get pulled over for something a 1992 Honda Accord would get away with. Be safe!

lawyers usually know the judges better than you and lawyers no how to talk to the judge. I didn't even show for court my lawyer did everything and i didn't miss work.

It is more of a way of expressing you are sorry for your sin and are willing to take the consequences without points. 450 for that or your insurance going sky high for the next 3 years, you fo the math!

i had a 350Z and would fly in it and never got a second look, i had a civic and got pulled over all the time, thats the car i got all my points in, Damn rice patrol!!!

I had my Z up to 152mph too, speeding is fun in a car that can handle it!!!!!

the first ticket i ever got was for a 60 in a 45...definitely not what i would consider reckless driving...that's a normal thing to do here in houston...i drive down the road here in front of my subdivision that's got a speed limit of 45...i'll be doing about 60, and all the other cars on the road are passing me!

yeah...especially when they decided 55 was a good speed limit for the freeways to cut down on air pollution...so lame...the speed limit on some feeders was the same as the freeway! no one actually slowed down, so thankfully, they finally brought them back up...

same here. Every time Im in a Z I dont get a second look. But before I got the paint the cops would pull me over for the dumbest thing. The last time I got pulled over it was for my wing and exhaust. I'll admit some cops are assholes. He told me hes going to take 'us' meaning the imports down one by one if it takes him till retirement. I laughed and told him I doubt he could singles handedly stop people from doing what they loved.
