*UPDATE*

Just finished fixing the bumper today, I gotta say it loos damn good, now I gotta get it painted.

NEW pics on page 3

I guess it was bound to happen (bang)

on my way back from the MX-6, MX-3 and probe meet in WPB I hit a truck tire in I-95. this sucks because I was expecting to be able to buy the sideskirts before our club's trip to Nopi. I am not mad or anything, just dissapointed I guess.

I was switching lanes and was going 80MPH. there was traffic, so no way to avoid it.

any opinions on what to do? can it be fixed? I don't think so cause it's fiberglass.

anyways here are the pics.

it's fiberglass, it can be fixed, i'll stop by ur house and check it out (and laugh) in person :D

that sucks....sorry to see this. i ran over some s*** in the road last month and it ripped off some of the paneling under my car (looked like a tire/rim)......thought i caught my bumper.

hit a huge lip three weeks ago and took a huge chunk out of one of my lips on my konigs.....

so much s*** on our public highways.....i should sue the state for auto damage.

Ya... sucks when things like this happen. Roads just plain suck. Seems like it happens to everyone once though... put a huge bend in one of my brand new 5zigens only days after getting them on :( Just gotta take'm like they come sometimes. Sorry man, hope it can be repaired cheaply so you can get some skirts and finish off the already sweet looking car.

that looks veryyy familiar. same s*** happened to me 3 days before nopi 2 years ago cept i hit a pot hole. it could be fixed. take it to a good shop.

I'll try and get some quotes tomorrow. hopefully it won't be too expensive so I can still get the sideskirts.

what side skirts are you thinking of?

I am definatelly getting the Erebuni ones.

looks live the VP of my club will be able to help me fix it, he works with fiberglass. if we can fix it, I'll try to get the sideskirts and paint everything before our trip to nopi.

sorry to see man. i feel your pain...

when i cracked my lip, i went nuts (esp since it is made out of hard plastic). i thought it was unrepairable...
im sure that can be fixed up dude.

good luck!

300?? damn. that was including painting and everything?

I called erebuni and they gave me a quote od $266.90 for the sideskirts shipped to my house. we'll see what happens.

anyone think I shoud go to the insurance? I don't know, just looking for more options.

well put the front bumper back on and the car looks so.......ummmm......different.

while I was down there, I found out that one of the grills of the rear bumper was bent and also that the heat-shield that goes between the exaust and shifter was bent out of shape (deadhorse

1. the heatshield
2. my car right now
3. another pic of the damage

the heat shield can be pounded back very easily as it's rather weak metal. Some patience and a mallet or hammer will take care of that.
