blyznoo what does that do?

justin, how does that anteanna work? external power, must be attached outside or what?
on my end, the *228, or whatever it is, updates your software and antenna listing, something which is not done automatically. Verizon, for example, was at one point installing a new antenna or in-building repeater every DAY on average in DC. Software upgrades mean that your phone may find a signal quicker, and switch from tower to tower (the main reason for dropped calls other than going into a non-coverage area) more effectively.

Matthew i am using the same cell phone as you. At the beginning the reception was great but it all started to go down hill after i dropped it a couple of times. The antenna on this model seems fairly flimsy. See if the phone can be returned under warrenty. Oh and don't tell them if it's been dropped. ;)

To improve the signal level in your appartment isn't an easy thing to do. You can try the compain to the company till it get's resolved or look for a phone that has a better antenna system. I recommend a higher end Nokia i find they work the best. Hope this helps.

And pretty much any external cell antenna should do the trick.

YOu need to get an external antenna that th3e other end connects to.

Something similar to this

All that you have now is the specific adapter to hook your phone up to a stantard external cell phone antenna.

BTW: I'm not Justin.

I remember when voip used to be free with net2phone, no way in hell am I gonna pay as much as they want to charge. it's a ripoff.

sorry kyred i was thinking your name was justin, and i totally missed that part.
but i dont think that is the problem now. rubicon i might have to say that i agree with you as of just today, the doggone phone cant seem to get signal anywhere. argh. its just out of its warranty period too :(
