LOL - I walked up there with the same attire and have a shaved head too. He glanced at me up and down before telling me I didn't look serious...that's the part that pissed me off. I guess since I'm latino, I can't afford a 30K car
Damn, that's harsh. I don't know how they expect someone to blindly buy a car without even driving it first. When I was car shopping early last year (when the economy was not as bad as it was now), the salesman suggested I take the used one on the lot home for a night to see how I liked it, which I did. Definitely a good sales tactic coz the car just kind of sold itself and I got so addicted to the torque hehe.
so i try to go into the dealer today, my contact person already left for the day when i called.
i told him i would just get with him tomorrow and the guy on the phone said what was it about.. i told him we had agreed on 27,300+ TTL for the 08 evo X gsr with sss.
he said come on down we'll make the deal for you
i said are you sure? i do NOT want to waste my time/gas driving down there if you aren't gonna give me the price agreed on.
"yes come down, we'll make the deal"
so i go down, showed him the printout of the emails between me and the internet manager, they offered 17k for my car trade-in, and the evo X gsr w sss for 27,900 originally, and a follow up email saying he would match 27,300 and to come down and pick the evo i want.
he goes away, comes back "the owner of the dealership will not give you the car for that price, we want 29k + ttl"
so i got up, said good luck selling the 11 evo's you have here that have been sitting for over 1.5 years, and left lol

i guess they didn't want their 11 evo's sitting any longer @ the dealer

nah i got silver. i want wicked white but none to be found.
i liked the red but don't want to be noticed to much by the cops and highway patrol hah (breakn)
i know better than to take an ms3 from a roll.

The only thing about the significantly lower than MSRP deal is that there are going to be a bunch of people with them now. And the lower price puts it more within reach of people who probably shouldn't own one anyway.
