Damaged Mazda5 on eBay

Yes, go ahead, maybe ask if the owner will sell parts instead of the whole thing. It's just a try. zoomzoom

I noticed the same thing and emailed the seller. We'll see if he responds. I noticed he has pretty positive feedback in general.

Hey it's jandree's car lol...

More seriously the same thing happend to me last week. I smashed into an old grandma that burned her red light :(. A chance I was stopped and smashed into here when accelerating (about 15km/h); the damages are far less extended and the bags did not pop out. I almost even did not feel the impact.

I have a Dodge Grand Caravan during the repairs. Hum, a heck of a van - damn I hate full sized van. I miss my 5 :).

Should have her by next week, hopefully...

is it just me but are those the tailights darker than usual??? they look like it has a black housing... i wonder if he would sell those?

the lights look darker but i dont think they are the same that are on the GT (i could be very wrong about that)
I think the ones on the GT are a flat black and not glossy

Man oh man.. I have seen worse then that on a 5 but I can tell ya one thing. If the EHPS pump and harness is damaged most cases cause for a write off. If that is the case in this example I would gut it for parts and ebay the parts.

It's scary to see how relatively little damage is totalling these things. Local yard by me has two 3's with very similar damage. Seems like once the rails are done in and the PS unit/engine harness is whacked (plus bags) it's too expensive to fix. Either Mazda needs to lower the price on thier components, or somehow increase the resale value of our cars!

But then again, look how well they hold up. Black car was a customer of ours, and walked away without a scratch. The passenger compartments are in GREAT shape. Structure really holds.

Wonder what he wants for the rims? I was looking for a set for my winter tires.

So I did send an email to the seller pointing out the vehicle was a Sport model and all I received was an email saying "thanks". And it's still listed as a Touring...and bidding has ended. Would you buy a car from this guy?

Sold for $5200.....Being that the 5 isn't really all that common, I bet the market for parts isn't too high. It would take forever to part it out, so I bet he's gonna rebuild it........Stronger, faster, better than before....
