Thanks everyone for the kind comments!!! Definatly replace the stock sub for sure, i did the amp too for some extra clarity and control (my alipne HU links directly into my alpine amp) but the JL w0 gets here tommorow and it should sound badass!!!
I'll also definatly be taking vids of the cutout in action. I bought mine from http://www.badlanzhpe.com/page2.html and it cost me 155.00 shippped which i thought was very reasonable including the electric cutout and y-pipe.
We think there are going to be gains of over 20whp with this thing open and its gonna sound fuggin badass to boot. YAY! (thumb)

The lighting was hella crazy reflecting off these clouds tonight at sunset so i had to snap a few pics. Car is hella dirty, but just ignore that fact. Hood grows on me everyday. And having a front lip that actually matches the color of the car IS CRAZY COOL!

wow, the body shop painter must have used a lot of clearcoat because your hood loooks deeeep. very tastefully done ! do you have coilovers or springs because i am looking to eventually get the same stance. dont mean to threadjack but i looked up at your sig and your cars sits evenly.
are the ksports coilovers good?
