Sup Guys,

I finally got the D2 36-way adjustable coilovers added to my car tonight. I do have pictures if anyone is interested. Spring rates...6 in the front, 5 in the back. I am not quite sure about the dampening...lol...But it feels good as heck...stiff and responsive. Going for an alignment in a few days (gonna see how i like the setting first). I know some people expressed interest in them, so if you have any questions i'll try my best to answer them. Just wanted to keep you posted.

Ciao

cool, did you request those spring rates cause those dont come standard. 7kg/5kg are standard. yea dampening is 36 way at the same time, not independently like alot of people think.

Why no pics

sup,

i didn't post pics because i didn't know if anyone would truly be interested. enough said. but here they are...sorry for the mediocre camera work...

i do know the head US distributor for this product, Michael Hinderliter. he is the guy all the smaller dealers go through. he owns Urban Import Performance out of Durham, NC...he is also my sponsor. so if anyone has any questions on this particular product, i can get you a true and thorough answer from the man himself...that includes purchasing information, installation instructions, specs, etc...just pm me...

ciao,

aisya

hey,

yea...i requested them...a friend of mine was running a subi with the same rates and i really liked the ride. granted subis and msps are different, but i figured it was worth a try. i am really enjoying it so far...we'll see if i feel the same in a week.

ciao

Looks good! How much will they cost from your distributor? You planning on autoxing? If so, post some details of how they feel on the track.

Hot! I want coilovers...but these roads in NJ are having me think twice about it.

Pricing and AutoX

heck yea i plan to autox this...lol...i cannot wait to see what it can do. i am also planning on adding a complete T3/T4 turbo, hardpiping and intercooler upgrade within the next few weeks...by a company that i am helping to start...(more information to come, and upon pm request). cross your fingers for me on that one...lol...the plan is to have the car ready to show at HIN in Charlotte. but yes, i want my car built for autoX and show.

i do plan on having it at Battle of the Imports April 2 & 3, at Rockingham in NC...i won't be showing but my car will be with at the Urban Import booth for those who wanna come check out the suspension first hand...you can even talk to Mike Hinderliter who is the head US D2 distributor.

for those that are interested...that setup has a list price of around 1200...so, just below the cost of TEIN...this also comes with the shown camber plates at no additional cost...

in reality, i am sure that if more than one person bought these at once, he would be willing to cut a deal...it's just a matter of interest...

any more questions...let me know...PM is cool...

How's the ride compare to stock MSP? or if you could, Eibach Prokit?

These will be stiffer than msp and eibach from the ** Spring Buyer's Guide **
msp 145/117.5ib
eibach 147-183/91-131ib

These that he has are 336/280ib....he got 6kg in the front, they come standard with 7kg/5kg or 392/280ib

that's cool...lol...i know it is hard to imagine a chick that actually knows something about cars...just messin...peace
