CX9 ECU question.

Hello.

I recently bought a 2011 CX9 Sport (No AWD) from salvage and it didnt have the ECU.

I can see that there are three connectors in my CX9 and looking in Ebay I found one from a 2009 CX9 Touring (AWD) and it seems to have three sockets, two are large with pins and one is empty, it seems to have no pins on it.

I dont want to buy the ECU in the dealership. One reason is because of the price and they ask me for a part number, which obviously I dont have, since I have no ECU on my car.

Would the ECU at Ebay work for me?

I am pretty sure you need an ecu from a non all wheel drive car. You also need to get an ecu from a 2010 - 2012 car because some of the pins changed from the earlier CX-9's.
