CX70 PHEV Driver's Seat

In August 25 we purchased a CX70PHEV Premium Plus, a $60K vehicle. The car is fine, except: The driver's seat will not fit me. After two recent 500 mile/+ round trips, I don't think I can use this vehicle for more than 1 hour without lumbar and thoracic back pain, and neck/shoulder pain. Since new I have tried to adjust the seat, using many on line guides, all without relieving the issues with more than a 1 hour ride. I stopped at the dealer and spoke with the salesman who confirmed that others had expressed concerns similiar. He walked me through the adjustment process again, and after completing a 500 mile trip, I give up. I am ready to get rid of this car.

Anyone have similar experiences and have found a solution. A chiropractor, body shop, upholstery shop for help? We paid extra for vented/heated seats so using a cushion seems like a waste of of those features. I have driven 100??cars and never had this issue. Salesman tells me it is a Japanese design attribute of the car.

I've had mine since June, XC-70 PHEV GT (top range in Canada). I've found the seats very supportive over long distances, the heated and ventilation works amazing. I'm 5'11" weigh 187 lbs, the seats adjust well for my size. My wife who is much shorter, and a retired RN.....every nurse has back issues, she likes the heated and ventilation. She actually finds the seats more comfortable then her M2 series BMW.
The seats are firm when compared to anything built in North America, it's common with many Japanese, and most German vehicles. I can easily dive the BMW 1,200 km without issue due to the firmness of the seats.
