Hey guys. I just bought a set of Enkei Raijin wheels and the lugs look about 1/2" longer than the OEM lugs. The problem I'm having is I can't seem get them tight enough to get rid of the play between the rotor and studs. The tire moves about 1/4". The OEM wheels were fine and no play. Any advice? Thanks!

Tbh, I'm sure the lugs on my wheels are the same size as oem. Those extended lugs might just be for people running spacers

There are a bunch of styles of JDM lug nuts on ebay, compare the length to the oem length if you want a different style.

OK so I tried the OEM lugs and same problem. I can still move the wheel back and forth about 1/4" and the parking brake is locked with no rotor movement. What gives? There's NO movement when the OEM steel wheels are tightened with the lugs.

They are 18" Enkei Raijin 5x114.3 +40mm. The previous owner had them on a Honda CRZ. I'm sure they're the correct bolt pattern, no? Thanks for your input.

these are short lugs .85", compare it to the length of your OEM/aftermarket lug. It's a weird situation. Although, are you in a CX-5? I notice your profile says cx9. Also, the CRV has a smaller hub bore than the mazdas, by like 3 mm... soo if those wheels are 64.1mm wide at the center bore, then they don't actually go over the hub all the way, which means the back of the wheel isn't on the hub, and therefore can move. The center would need to be machined, or sell and buy wheels with 67.1 or greater hub bore.

I thought all enkei raijin wheels were 72.6mm center bore...I know the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. Unless I forgot to pull out the sentering rings from the previous owner...I'll check at home and feel stupid if that's what it is.

Sorry I need to update my signature. The CX9 is the wife's. I got the CX5.
