CX-90 PXFV-13-3A0 Air Filter upgrade or new aftermarket intake?

Looking for K&N replacement for PXFV-13-3A0. It looks very similar to other Mazda Air filters. I am willing to try a K&N certified for other Mazdas.

Also CX-90 PPTurbo S in shop for three days trying to figure out Entertainment System freezing during Apple Car Play startup. A few days ago I had no SYSTEM FOR 12 MINUTES AND 3 REBOOTS.

The air filter for the 2.5L & 3.3L share the same Mazda part number. I measured mine and it is 9"x8"x2.1875". K&N 33-2990 is 8.938"x8"x1.25". Seems like a suitable replacement for the OEM.

Installed. Minor trimming with razor blade. I can feel the +15/20 lbs torque. Thanks
