I recently had my CX-9 right headlight assembly replaced after an accident. The repair was conducted at a dealership in VA. After I got the car back, I noticed that the horizontal aim of the headlight is not correct. It looks like the aim is pointing to the right, so I can see a beam of light pointing towards the shoulder (clearly illuminating it). This was not the case before the accident.
Took it back to the dealer where the car was repaired and they say that the CX-9's dont have a horizontal adjustment bolt, just a vertical.
Just wondering if anyone on this forum has had any luck with adjusting the horizontal aim on the CX-9? Not sure if the dealer is being honest with me. I have been to them 3 times regarding this issue and they don't seem to have a clue on how to adjust it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Car info :
2009 Mazda CX-9 (Grand Touring)
Xenon headlights.
Thanks
