CX-9 Rear axle play

Hi I had a leak on the rear axle seal on the differential and noticed some play with the axles going into the rear differential. Is there supposed to be up/down side/side play? If i grab the axle i can move them around a little bit.

There should not be any play

What year is your cx-9?

Its a 2018 with 150k. I didn't think so either but i was able to check another one that is a 2019 with 50k and it did about the same thing. Ive been waiting for some new bearings and seals to come i was gonna see if i can replace them. After checking the other vehicle and it having about the same play I figured i would try and get some more info on this.
