CX-9 Hitch harness connector

Hi:
I'm trying to install an OEM Hitch harness in my CX-9 2010 AWD. I have googled a lot and followed the installation instructions. I had no problem finding the CX-9 hitch connector, but the problem is that the Hitch harness and the CX-9 hitch connector has the same female connector. How can I connect them?

The pictures attached to the instructions show that the CX-9 and the harness have the same connector, but the author didn't say anything about how to connect them, I suppose that there should be no problem.
Can nybody help me?
