2016~2023 CX-9 Clunking after CorkSport (lowering springs) install by shop

Hey y’all. I recently had corksport lowering springs installed on my 22 CX9. Since the install, I’ve noticed clunking coming from mostly the front passenger wheel well. I took it back to the shop and they couldn’t recreate the noise, of course. But it’s damn loud over small bumps and road imperfections at slow speeds. Shop said they checked all specs and everything is tight. However…I did some digging and found the spring not seated correctly in the spring seat.

Could this be enough to cause clunking?
The blue are the corksport and the yellow circle is what the spring seat should look like.

I don't think so. Hard to narrow down by just going off of the words of the tech that everything is tight. You have a 22 so all the bushings should be good. If you can, get a wrench and confirm tightness starting from the strut tower bolts.

Suspension bolts can be tight and clunk if they're not fully tightened to spec. That is one possibility for your noise.

Make a video of the car going over the bump and the noise sounding. Take that with you to the shop.
