CX-9 2.2 Litre Turbo Diesel

Like the idea of a diesel but 2.2 litres for a vehicle weighing in at over 2 tonnes. I'm not sure that this will even work in Europe where we are diesel crazy. They should have licensed the Range Rover 3.6 V8 TDV8 Diesel when they were cousins under Ford. Would have been perfect for the CX-9.

Aside. With temperatures falling beneath -16 Centigrade last weekend in Sweden. Saw my 10 cms windscreen crack develop into a 150 cms crack in a matter of seconds. Warning: heat up the windshield very slowly in cold conditions as the temperature differential can turn a small crack into a disaster.

Yeah I would say it is more likely to be used in the CX-7.
