any one know what C X and 5 stand for Mazda use X a lot I am hoping that means Xcellency (first)

THe number just indicates progression to larger sizes as most manufactures do. BMW 1,3,5,7
Citroen: C1,C2,C3 etc
Mazda 2,3


X is often used for SUVs and AWD eg BMW X1, X3, X5.
Volvo: XC60, XC 70, XC80
Lexus RX 4x4

Perhaps because X sounds good or for cross (X) country, 4X4 ...
