CX-5 Sidekick search

Yes making wife happy and our life would be a lot easier! :)

Just wondering, even if you buy her a brand new 2017 Honda Fit than a used Volvo S60, that still wouldn't make her happy? My wife was happy when I suggested her to get a brand new Mazda CX-5 instead of a similarly priced Lexus RX 350 which had to be a used. She always wants a Lexus as all of her friends driving Lexus!

I guess she does not care for Volvo or any brand, she has specific opinions like Hatchbacks are stupid / SUV is safer than a sedan / Hondas are ugly - take two of those three and you know what she thinks of Fit hahaha.

So sounds like another CX-5 is the best sidekick for your current CX-5... (whistle)

These Elio's seem to keep me interested... unfortunately not shipping yet. So cheap for a commuter vehicle if they come to fruition

Took Chris's advice, not on mirage but on imgur lol.

Mostly will pick up this Camry - OTD a hair over 17 with auto dimming (extra installed from dealer) and certified with 20k on ODO. Meh deal but the dealers here in DFW suck and it was getting tedious. Besides this dealer was nice no pressure and quick.
One dealer in Arlington played a skit wherein a sales rep pulls the key saying 'i sold that one just now' just as another salesrep is about to give it to me for a test drive - well not blaming them, people here just dont research well and get taken.

Kudos to SF.

Also noted that if you own Toyota / Nissan / Hyundai you can kiss your resale good bye - tons of fleet sales. Plus Nissan is dumping new 16 Sentras for 16k OTD here in DFW - middle trim. Only if it didnt take 255 light years to reach 0 to 60. On this atleast you can say Subaru does a good job of not stinking up resale for their customers. Also noted Mazda resale is stronk.

Yeah Chris_Top_Her is pushing Imgur more successful than Mirage... :)

What year and trim level is that Camry and how many miles on it for $17K? I imagine it's a 2.5L I4 with EPA estimates at 25/35 MPG city/highway which is not too bad for a "full-sized" sedan.

Its a 15 SE 4 Cylinder. Like the wheels and disks on all wheels. Plus paddle shifters lol. 16 Camry had more complains on nhtsa so we went 15.

17k, not bad. Thats about the proce of a brand new fully loaded Mirage g4 (sedan). Did they give additonal warranry?

7 yrs 100k from Toyota. So covered till 2022. No extra warranty.
Is it bumper-to-bumper or powertrain only? How many miles on your Camry right now? I thought Camry SE (Sport Edition) used to come with V6 and sport-tuned suspension?

Car has 20k on it. Bumper is for 1 yr 16 k. Rest is powertain only. SE comes in both 4 and 6 cylinders. Tight suspension good wheels and instrument gauge with leatherette seats. Effetively I have 5 years 80k miles of powertain warranty instead of 3 years 40k.
