Peanut butter....to use it on black exterior plastic trims.....it works great, use micro fiber cloth .....just try urself ..only creamy peanut butter....

I tried this but my CX-5 later had a hard time starting. Must've been allergic to peanuts? (shrug)

Nice Tsedhun69, I have done pretty much everything you have in the picture and love it so far. except the sunroof guard and the step bars. Those step bars look good but are they really usable for children/adults? Where did you get the step bar?
I also have the bumper guard and love that one too. =)

You know the sunroof deflector/guard really helps the noise reduction a lot with my experience..step bars was more for look I guess,,,but it help a bit while car wash to reach on top of car...don't get me wrong it is very sturdy .bought this side steps from www.winsomechina.com it cost $303 including shipping took only 5 days for shipping...though, its pretty tricky to install...took me 3 long hrs...

Just came back from a road trip to Arkansas. The CX-5 held up very well and proved to be a worthy road trip vehicle. Of course, I had to snap some pics:

Hi everybody! My first post :)
This is my CX-5 Diesel, new in august. I'm really happy with it! I painted the the crome details, fitted the LED lights and painted the splitters black to make a more holistic impression.

My Sport manual has arrived. I officially have a fleet of mazda's. What a great little car. I just wish i had something to install on it. Intake, amp and sub, lowering springs. Something.

Still got the beast though. Gotta give it some spotlight.

Hey VIKING !
You did a great job, i've got the same design wheels.
Mine are 8J x 18" from german wheel manufacturer Borbet.
Looks ferry good the paint job on the car, and the DRL's.
I took off the CX-5 and skyactive badges.
How did you paint the Mazda M on the front and the rearside ?

Gr. Karl from the Netherlands.

That looks pretty sweet!

Thank's :)

Hi Karl,
Glad you like it. Your wheels looks good to! I feel also that 18'' is the way to go ;)
Mine are 17'', but I plan to buy 18'' next summer.

To paint the parts, I bought a set of new genuine parts of emblems and splitters and sent them to a local painter for sandblasting (because of the crome) and painting.
Then I got my Mazda dealer to retrofit all the parts, including the LED's.

Do you got any plans for your CX-5?

I've had mine for a few months and absolutely love it! I've made the emblems, wheels and roof rails black. Then I did a 30% tint forward of the B pillars.
