This is what happend to my 1 month old CX 5

I've had mine for a few months and absolutely love it! I've made the emblems, wheels and roof rails black. Then I did a 30% tint forward of the B pillars.

Codyzoom - Thanks for the excellent pics of black wheels on your CX. That's exactly the look I'm shooting for.
What color are the wheels (graphite or black)?

I got some plans for my CX-5 in the near future.
But first i have to buy some new gear for my KTM enduro motorcycle.
The new offroad season is opening in oktober.
I have to buy a new helmet and bodyprotector after hitting a tree!
Also de MX boots must be replaced because their old.
First i'm gonna paint / powdercoat the stock 17" black before fitting the wintertires.
Planning to make an aluminium footrest.
And i'm looking for LED's to replace the DRL P13W bulbs and the contour lights. ( looks cheap when the xenon headlights are on )
Maybe Led's for licenseplate illumination.
And for sure paint the logo's, i will follow your idea buying new one's paint them and replace them.
Tryed to take off the front logo and inmediately broke some pins, so left it on.
Also looking for some bigger exhaust-tips.

Believe it or not, it's just the black Plasti-Dip with about a coat and a half of their "glossifier". I love the look, but it won't look as cool when the tire shine wears off, so it'll be a pain having to put that on all the time. Oh well, it's not too much of a sacrifice, I love the stock rims and they look great black.
The final product almost comes out to a matte black finish. The glossifier gives it a little shine though.

Good choice you wont regrett a minute.Yeah I have to fight with my Dealer to get my car within 2 weeks he said this package out of stock in ontario finally he bought this one from another province.Alpenrock, you bought New one ?! I ordered my and he will arrive in october!

With all wheel drive with Bose stereo OMG I simply love to drive this amazing vehicle so many of my friends are intrested in this vehicle.
I hope and pray I keep this car for another 7 years atleast.
