2013~2016: CX-5 - Melting Taillight Lens

Again, for the red part of liftgate taillight which is melted, there's no incandescent bulb for it, only reflector.

There is definitely a bulb element in the red portion on the gen 1s. I always see them on the highway and wonder why they removed it on the gen 2 non-gt models.

I vote either wrong bulb was in there, the bulb failed hot somehow (not likely I don't think), or someone was playing around with a torch or magnifying glass - kid playing around in a backyard style.

Something A-typical happened to that lamp.
