Engine light on, scanner said no codes to pull. Car runs and acts fine, checked the gas cap, looked under hood for anything obvious. I did change the plugs and refreshed the coolant with a new gallon a week ago been driving it everyday but light just went on today. 10 yrs old/80k miles. Before I succumb to the stealership any ideas for me check?

From your infotainment center, is there any info under "warning"? The car has a message for you and there's gotta be a way to read it without going to the dealership.
If your handheld device isn't showing the codes, you can ask your local auto parts store to scan with their devices. Otherwise, the lowest cost alternative is a Bluetooth dongle and phone app.
I use a VeePeak dongle (about $40) and Car Scanner Pro app to monitor stats and pull codes.

Went to my Orielly store their scanner picked up code P0171 system too lean bank 1. They suggested 9/10 times that's a vacume leak in other words anything... lol. Get back in car to go home light is gone??? Wtf. Cycled engine on off few times and no light. Guess I play the waiting game see what happens.
