CV Joint?

When ever I turn the car left it makes a grinding/rubbing noise coming from the left wheel area. I looked around the wheel and there is nothing that I can see. I was wondering if it could be the cv joint?

Could be, but usually if the CV joint is bad/going bad it makes more of a clicking noise...

Does anyone know what could be making a grinding noise?
