cutting springs

I say don't cut them. The Mazda 3 is such a great handling car. Don't ruin that. Spend the money on springs.

You ever see a Civic bouncing around all over the place? That is a cut spring, they suck and aren't worth anything unless you just want a drop.

cutting springs will ruin the ride, if your gonna do it, do it where the ride is still comfortable. or you will bounce all over the place.

hehe...I didnt say I wanted to cut my springs but I saw someone who did that and I just wondered what were the pros and cons. Ill definately buy springs instead of cutting my progress springs...

What sort of drop are you looking for?
I don't think there is much out there that will drastiaclly lower your car.
If you already have Progress springs, your not going to find anything MUCH lower!!!

They have coilovers for our 3's now. You can choose how high or low you want with them. I think they run at $800-1000. Good luck
