Does anyone make a rear spoiler for the p5? I would think it would be easy to make being they have the roof racks to bolt to, that means no holes!

Silver P5
custom paint
blue calip.
Koss head unit
custom indash 5.6"
DVD/VCR
2-12" pioneer
MAudio 1000W / HiFonics 100W amps
Kicker components front and back
custom interior
blue neons inside and out
K&N hiflow filter
CB exhaust
1.5" drop

Yeah, that wing is nasty. I saw a P5 with a mid wing at a dealer that lies flat against the trunk. Looks WAY better. But they charged an obscenely high amount for it, I don't remember how much though.

That is the dumbest looking waste of money I have ever seen. A spoiler has to have air flow over it for it to be effective(not that any spoiler for looks is ever effective), and this thing is in the back of the car where there is almost a vacuum. How retarded...

I think that looks a little silly.

Hahahaha... looks like a luggage handle... they call that a spoiler? hee hee. Really is one of the funniest designs I've seen lately for an aftermarket auto part. :D :D

God.....you gotta love this guys choice of words. Haha :D Absolutely blunt about it. You can always count on some members to give you there honest opinion on things, and Melicha8 is one of them. I don't think it looks that bad though. I think the kind the Hakushi is talking about will defintely look more at home on the P5. From what he described it sounds kinda like the mid wing for a 92-95 Civic Hatch

Or something in this direction.

Yeah, well u know what im gonna say about the wing so i wont even say it. Im trying to turn a new leaf. Im trying to get a custom wing put on and its hard to put everything together. I wouldnt go that route to get one though.:o :D

Hey I gotta tell it like it is. I don't like worthless crap like that. That wing is so rice, there is no possible way that thing can give any downforce. Like allen said it looks like a luggage handle. At least it can help weak old ladies open the hatch and get their walkers out. Hehehe

If anyone thinks that will give them better performance, I have a import Jack antenna ball that will dramatically improve 'flow through horsepower drop-off'.

No one mentioned getting any extra horsepower off of putting a different spoiler on their car. So, I don't know where any of you got that idea from. The first wing isn't cute at all, but hey let people try something different. The guy is just trying to improve the looks of his ride.

Yeah APEXistud, that's the kind of wing I saw at the dealer. (if anyone's interested, it was Avante Mazda in Richmond Hill)

I always thought mid-wings did nothing; melicha8 finally proved me right. They do look Ok though, if done correctly.

Speaking of useless wings, I saw this EK Civic hatch with a aluminum roof wing, a mid wing that was somehow molded with fibreglass so it extends outwards more, then had a touring wing put on top of that midwing  Man, what was he thinking?

I wish some company would make a carbonfibre roof wing for the Protege5. Not the ones that stick up, but similar to the stock style, but slightly longer. Like the Spoon Sports ones for the Civic hatches, I like those. Nice and OEM looking.
