Custom Seats

Has anyone installed custom seats in the speed 6? I am a tall guy and make do with limited head room with the stock seats.

I was wondering if anyone had experience lowering the stock seats or installing new ones that provided more head room.

i jsut got a speed6 - was delivered 2nite...
im 6'1" & 245lbs

i have no probs what so ever!

Make sure the seat is all the way down. I know some one that didn't buy an RX-8 because he though he didn't fit in it. He sat in mine and was wondering how come he fit. I showed him the seat lowering lever.

I'm about 6' 4" and with the seat all the way down I'm quite comfortable. I can see an extra few inches making all the difference though.

I'm 6' 6" as well and had no problems fitting into a speed 6 when taking a quick sit in one at the dealership. Shouldn't be a tight fit for ye (unless you've got a lot of your height in the torso)

As MR_X suggested, is your seat down some?
