If you email them they should be able to tell you.

I payed $300 to GA if I remember correctly.

thanks.

is that $300 just for shipping? what did ya get? lip, grill, both?

was the original topic starter asking about the autoexe style grill or just the actuall mesh insert?

Sounded like just the insert since he mentioned the billet grills.

if thats the case I am making my own set of these but these guys use very high quality mesh and can paint it any color u want.

edit: pics are from atgrills web site, not mine.

I am doing these on mine with aluminum dipped mesh instead of the zinc dipped they use, theirs is better but I am spraying it with healthy amounts of primer and black paint anyway.

Right now I have the template made with thin cardboard, like a little thicker than cardstock and will be cutting the mesh tonight.

only difference is mine will actually cover the M section in the middle and I am removing the chrome part of the M.

Instead I am taking the small m off the back of the car and painting it the duplicolor anondized blue and puting it in the upper right corner of the grill.

eventuall a blue neon behind the grills so they glo...maybe.

Well I hope yours are better than ATGrills cause theirs suck ass.

why do they suck ass, i havent seen em in person but from the pics Ive seen on like 8 different cars they look real good? pls explain....? Only reason Im not going with em is I like making my own stuff and it costs me 20 bux instead of 65-70.

Well everyone I've ever heard that has got one has had fitiment issues. Then on top of that they rust really quickly. People have had them on for less than a week before they start to rust.

I'll admit in the pics they look really good. But I've heard too much bad s*** about them to ever buy them. Good luck with yours.

thanks

thanks everyone....couldnt find the mint blue website...but the Tankaria (sp?) is the one i was looking for anyway.

peace

sweet ejd found what u wanted...

Not sure about the rust issue since theirs are supposed to be zinc aluminum dipped, but maybe thats why they started using the zinc dipped ones? rust problems..

Not sure I made a custom set for my 99 eclipse that I had out of the same stuff I have now and just cut and installed it with no material prep, still hasn't rusted, but again AZ is a dry state most of the time.

The set Im making now for my p5 has already had a 4 layer primer coat put on and when I get home it will have a 4-5 layer semigloss black coat out on and maybe a sealant if I like. Will have to see what it looks like when all the paint is dry.

the templates are relatively easy to make, I just used newspaper for first time for a rough design, then transferred to cardstock paper or a really thin cardboard and just test fit/trim test fit/trim over and over untill it fit perfectly. Now I have a good template.
