Custom Enclosures

I was wondering if we could have a thread that has just pics of peoples custom enclosures . I am looking for ideas to upgrade my system (sub , amp, adding componants to the fromt and new rears) without loosing any functionality (i still want to be able to drop the seats w/ out taking out the sub enclosure). I am also hoping that this thread will not have side conversations, I am being selfish in what I want but I think this would be a great thread for any body looking to upgrade.

Another addition would be the inclusion of price of the enclosures, and if done by self estimate time, cost, and please rate difficulty and level of frustration on a scale from 1-10. Thank You in advance and I hope to get some great ideas.

I am hoping to start building something and having it done by the end of february won't be anything too elaborate I think dunno I haven't even started yet, I'm lazy prolly take a month just to get motivated to where I wanna spend the cash

I haven't done much lately, but I'll tell you what I'm going to do :D

I am going to run a 4channel amp to power my components and 10" subwoofer. Right now I have a Rockford Fosgate T8004 but is just too damn big... the speakers are Adire Audio Kodas and a Koda 10 sub.

Anyways. I'm going to mount the amp in the spare tire well and fiberglass a small sealed enclosure into the cubby on the passenger side of the car, behind the tail light. Hopefully this will start to come together during the next few weeks.

Anyway ya can snap a pic in the daylight kinda closer?
If you want me to I can. I just built a fiberglass box in the space that goes in behind there. I took out the panel over the jack and moved the jack below the flooring carpet. The box is really unfinished, so it's covered in one big piece of carpet that covers the wall. I may one day try to make it look nicer if I have time.

The screws in the bueaty board:
- Remove the screws
- Slice the carpet with a 1" cut through the screw holes center.
- Pull back the carpet
- Screw the screws back in
- Spray the opening of the carpet and now screw head and uncovered wood with spray adhesiive
- Let the adhesive set for a few minutes
- lay the carpet back neatly to hide the small seem

Now your screws are hidden (cool)

Thank You so much everybody, p[lease let me know (if home grown) how long did it take and how many times did you curse the project. I think I want it to go into the corner in the passenger side like DaViper had. BTW can you take a pick of the whole set up in light to see the whole thing?

I am still in my planning stages and won't likely get to it until Summer time (that will be my next bonus @ work) so any information will be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to take some pics of it later today. It took probably about 12 hours of actual work, since I did a few coats at a time ten would let it dry for a day (since I didn't have much time to work on it). It was also my first time using fiberglass, so it took a little longer because of that. I'll do my best to get some pics up later today.

Thanks!

Here is a shot off my enclosure and amp rack, the other side of the rack currently holds all fuses and the EQ.

I had an idea for an enclosure similar to NVanP5. I'm thinking a 10" sub on either side behind the wheel well and the amp sitting in the spare tire holder. It still gives me all the trunk space to work with, and it's not in the way of the folding seats either.
